I've actually was hesitant to post art work in Newgrounds after seeing many great artist; I shuttered in INTIMIDATION!!! .... .... but I am okay now. I actually am inspiring to become quite the illustrator in western and eastern cartoons. I will be posting my works here and on a Deviantart page as well hxxp://ziahy0nchume.deviantart.com/

Like the picture above, I'm posting a series of drawings from Gulliver's Travels. Above was Gulliver in his ship wrecking to Liliput. Below is a illustration of Laputa in it's own Ruins. As can be seen, I would like tips for the use of Indian Ink.

I like the style and expression. More specifically, as a personal favorite, I like art that tells a story. I think you'll do great with continuous practice. Welcome!

I appreciate the encouragement. Thank You. As to the particular works above, they come from Jonathan Swift's Novel: Gulliver's Travels. The original text is meh... Swift really hated everything even though his work spawned many imaginative interpretations. If you enjoy the context, you can read the original text but I think it is best to see the 2010 adaptation with Jack Black.

Here is my first attempt with color without a tablet in a while. I've gotten replies about the rocks looking like mountains instead of rocks. I've consulted a book on how to draw waves and wave crashings. What can I do to improve here.

Here is the first page to my webcomic series: Let's Go Ramen Rider.
It was my first time coloring with photoshop and using the pen tool with adobe illustrator. Also, it was inked prior to the digitizing. I just learned the use of layer mask and simple glow effects. I wanted to go with a simple style that. What do you guys think could help improve the future works?

In this comic, I took some tips from the PA (Penny Arcade). I was Googling what I can do better for a webcomic. There should not be another bad webcomic, so I decided to up the quality with my work the best I can. I lowered the size of this comic and attempted to draw shadows. Coloring does not seem to be a burden anymore.
Well what ever I can do to improve, let me know.

The latest LGRR installment.
In the first panel, I wanted to make it more dynamic. I chose a different perspective and attempted to make some attention marks. In Panel 2 I wanted to create a bit more serious tone. I consulted a tutorial and an anatomy book for a woman figure. I guess I need to draw the women figure more. Panel 3 and 5 have a similar background that I believe looks cool. It was hard to come up with new backgrounds, I figured not all the panels needed a background. Sometimes the text should also take a part of the panel as well.
Panel 4 is what I worked the most on and like the most. I enjoyed the expression on the face and the pose of the guy there. Also the cone was a lot of fun to draw. At first the curtains were non-existence but it seemed like the panel needed them.
I've also included comic 4 for a bump as well

I am glad you like the backgrounds. I try to make the backgrounds as pleasing as possible. At the current moment, I'm studying city backgrounds and using tutorials on perspective.
Here is also a picture from 2 years ago. This was drawn for a friend of mines. However, the colors were not done my me but by my brother. I hope to be able to color like so later in the future. Still it is nice to see Goku with Totoro.

I've decided to make the protagonist's side burns more like side burns. Does it help when I add numbers to the corners to indicate the panel order?
I attempted to try some other perspective techniques to panels 1 and 2. Panel 1 from a simple two point perspective and Panel 2 from a downwards perspective. Panel 5 was the first time I had to color with a harsh light source.

I have not had the time to do more life drawing lately. I will be going on a vacation with the family this week. So I made the next comic just before packing. I made some gesturing in the thumb nailing to get the back flip in check (panels 5, 6, and 7). Panel 1 is my first attempt to create an illusion of a head shake. I will surely revisit head shaking. The last panel features an improvement to the previous newspaper panel back from Comic 4.
There may not be a comic next week but I am always practicing. Thank you all for the replies so far.

I managed to continue the comic for this week despite the vacation. I will upload some more life drawing as well as some anime drawing. I believe I am improving with coloring and some shadows... Well I will believe and try to work on it.
Here is the Comic for this week.

I've been using Adobe Illustrator lately for inking rather than using a light board. For Comic 10, I simply used the standard pen tool. Took a while to get through... For Comic 11, I used my tablet instead.
Below is Comic 10 part 1.
