If the chair was made of something soft and elastic, it just might work!
Does anyone remember the magnetic windmill design?
I've wanted to try it out for some time now, that actually seems like it would work

But at what cost? The thing might spin, but even so it'll spin sooo slowly that it won't be worth it. You're better off turning it yourself.

Just take two massive electromagnets, set them apart so the polar opposites are constantly pushing away from eachother, and boom, infinite energy

How do you power the electromagnets?
BBS Mod, PM me if you have something to report.

Hopefully it'd generate enough energy to be self sustaining, and still produce tons of energy
Electromagnets are damn powerful, the more power you put into it the stronger it is. So as they spin faster and faster, they produce more and more energy, making them spin faster and faster
At some point it'd break the windmill, but it's a great idea in theory

It wouldn't. It would consume far more energy than it would generate.

Thanks for explaining to me how electromagnets work, I had no idea.

It's a great idea if you're an idiot with no knowledge of how energy works or basic physics, but yeah.

Reminds me of this:

This one actually works in Crysis 2.

I'm not that harsh. I'm still locking it, though.
