I'm gonna be getting this one for PC! I really hope they add something to BF4 that catches my attention instead of being the same game with new maps and guns and blah. Either way I'll buy it and enjoy it I'm sure.

Meh Battlefield 3 bored me to death and I was horrible at it. I tried really hard to like that game since it looked like a game I could play for hours with my friends. I failed epically. It could have been better had they added in a mode where you play against AI like Star Wars Battlefront or you know previous Battlefield games. I don't get it, is it hard to code or what? AI in general is something that is really tricky to code (I've had firsthand experience in my computer science class.... stayed hours after school with the teacher and yet still could not code an AI that could go around a wall) but c'mon, they spend so much time on the engine, why not more time on the AI?

I'm going to get it for the PS4 probably or PC, whichever it plays better on. I hope the maps are gigantic and is like 1942 where we had 64 players, that was the shit back in the day, ahhh memories......

Anyone else feel like there's gonna be a Chinese theme to BF4? I say so namely because Shanghai is shown in this reveal image on the site and "Hanna" here looks a little Asian herself. I'm guessing Hanna has some involvement in the campaign (because the Battlefield franchise is totally known for it's riveting singe-player experience [that was sarcasm by the way, save Bad Company 1 in my opinion, but BF4 may prove me wrong, so we shall see]), along with the US soldier shown as well. This is all speculating on my part, of course, so I may be completely wrong on all cases.
I don't think it's totally out of the question for BF4 to have China involved somehow though, since the conflict of Battlefield 2 had the Chinese as a multiplayer faction, as well as the console version of BF2 having them in single-player as well. It'd be a nice break to have China as as enemy faction again in my opinion, instead of the "US vs Russia" deal that's in just about EVERAYTHANG, BF3 included.

I think I'm going to be switching to PC gaming by the time this comes out. I'm still so jealous of all the BF3 players on the 64 player servers. I'm a sucker for large player counts because of CoD 2 and 4 on the PC.

Really looking forward to BF4, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and the reveals.

Gameplay revealed in only two more days. I wonder how they are going to be able to put this game on both current and next generation consoles. I'm sure the version that is released for the 360/PS3 will be hobbled to hell and back.

After having watched the video, I'm honestly on the fence on this one. Sure, it certainly looks pretty, and the campaign may be worth a playthrough, but I'm all about the multiplayer when it comes to Battlefield. Right now, it just kinda looks like BF3 with super amped-up graphics. Perhaps I'm judging it too early, but that's my honest opinion on it so far.

Also, there had better be some fucking dinosaurs. Not some bitch-ass pterodactyl either, I wanna go toe-to-toe with a T-Rex while driving a tank!
