Was Shenmue ever a good game? It was a quick time event riddled mess only praised because it was a sneak peek at the next console generation.

I really hope this happens. Shenmue 1 and 2 were fantastic games, the latter I have quite a few fond memories of playing. And I highly doubt this will end up like Duke Nukem Forever.

There's a lot of stigma behind quicktime events, but when Shenmue did it, there wasn't a huge amount of games with them, and they executed it a lot better than most other games.
