Publishing for Android - Question!? 2013-03-18 20:04:43 Reply

I submitted a University Project

I think I was suppose to publish it as air for android to get the .apk
But I did as air 2.6 and got a .air

Will this still work on an android?

And what's the difference between .apk and .air?

Thanks!

.apk is the native application format for android. In the same way that iPhone apps are .ipa, and Windows programs are .exe

I think a .air could work on the android in the same way a .swf would, although I could be wrong. Can't you just export as .apk now?
