It has been one week already and this is what it looks like. Now, I am worried that I may end up shaving it clean again 'cause I don't have enough facial hair to grow a full beard.
I really want to grow a full beard. Is there any hope in my case?

Oh Noes! I think it's too late for me. I now 20+ (The better part of the decade). According to what I've read, it will take at least 4 months to grow a decent amount of facial hair. And it's only 1 week since I stopped shaving.
I also want a beard. I've heard that everytime you shave, it grows faster.

Mine actually grows somewhat slowly. But I trim it so it doesn't get too long. If I hadn't it'd more double the length it is now.
Don't listen to the dicks telling you you're ugly, you just need some chap stick.

Thanks! I plan to let it grow and see what will happen. As of now, I am maintaining a protein rich diet for it is good for the hair. And some vitamins and fruits too.
but for some reason I am still worrying about I think it's called side burns or whiskers. (The facial hairs that grows on the side of the face and connects the mustache and the beard.) will I ever have that?

Unfortunately, It falls under the myth category of beards. Shaving doesn't help at all. It has something to do with the hormones according to what I read.

But yeah if you give it enough time it might grow. Then again I know someone who can't grow any form of a beard other than on their chin. So I suppose it's more of wait and see thing.

I just went to a shop and met a dude with a full grown beard. Of course I immediately gave him a compliment about his beard. Then I told him that I am trying to grow a beard. Then, he told me that it is impossible for me to have side burns/whiskers. So I can grow some hair but I may not be able to grow a full beard. I think it's just me, but I think I saw him laugh. A smirk I suppose.
But that will not crush my commitment! I will keep from shaving until the next 3 months. To see it for myself. If I can grow a beard or not.
