Mario(controls fire,strong,good in phisical abilities,defeated a bunch of strong enemies and has freaking hammer)
Kratos(FUCKING STRONG,godly powers,titanic powers,his blades of Chaos/Exile/Athena and is very fast)
Carl Jhonson(Quite strong,good weapon use and is very hard to kill)
The savior[madness](godly powers,VERY STRONG,flies and can make weapons)
The auditor(almost immortal,create weapons,strong and can teleport)
Hank(Strong and pretty quick)
Sanford(His hook and stragenth makes him a hard opponent)
Deimos(silenced weapon training makes him an deadly assassin)
Zero(VERY QUICK,quite strong,hard to beat and impressive melee ability)
Bass.EXE(Strong,strong powers and has the ultimate program)
Sonic(Speed and a little of stragenth makes him almost invencible,unless if the person has a very good aim...)
Shadow(FUCKING HARD TO KILL[he is immortal,but can be like "knocked out" for a long time,chaotic powers and stragenth)
Herobrine(hard to kill,teleport,his pickaxe,ability to make zombies/skeletons/clones,can see in the dark and immortal if he is in his full power,and in full power he can destroy an mountain with one punch,and his telekynesis)
Telamon(immune to instant-killing weapons,his deadly sword and the ability to ban people amake him deadly)
Marco(Finished many dangerous missions,balanced and good aim)
Scorpion(HE WANTS REVENGE!!!!!!!!! HE IS STRONG AND DEADLY!!!)
Tom Fulp(even if he isnt on an "game"....he needs to be remembered....he can save people from death,can destroy everything with his tank,and can blam his enemies to limbo,like Telamon's ban)

I agree. Anyone who punches boulders has got to be pretty tough.

Asura from Asura's Wrath is a pretty good candidate for the strongest video game character.

If you count Visual Novels, Demonbane once grew bigger than the universe. It also is able to summon the Demonbanes "that were, are, and never will be" or something like that (basically just infinite). To be fair, it is based of Lovecraft.
