It is intellectually infallible to wish you were born in any time other than the one you were born in.

I'm pretty fucking happy growing up now with the interesting technology we have, and the technology of the late 90's and early 2000's.
I would like to have been able to grow up in the 50's-60's, though. Just so I could be able to see the growth of computers. Going from these giant room-sized beasts to the original Macintosh to current smartphones now would be great.
Though I'd be like 50 now. I'd be gone just as the best is about to come.

But I guess that applies to growing up and dying at any point in time.

The 60's so I could experience the British Invasion, the Summer of Love, all that sick music.

I grew up in the 90's, and I'm okay with that.
I'm just really, REALLY... like I can't stress that word enough... REEEAAALLLYY thankful that I didn't have to grow up with the sorry bunch of kids from this generation. I'm not looking forward to seeing what kind of parents they'll be.... *shudders*

Heh, anywhere earlier than 2000! It's funny, I get nostalgic when I hear about the past decades, even though I'd never experienced them. I guess my country was a few decades behind because of the Soviet Union and all that...

Frankly I'm glad I was born as recently as I was. I've gotten to live in a society that's increasingly more accepting of not only minorities, but people with such different beliefs. If I had been born even in the late 80s, being nihilist would have made life a lot harder.
