Anyone else been tracking the revolution in Iceland much then? Considering there's a media blackout on the matter. Meaning, the media around the world are choosing not to report this in hopes that people don't get the idea that it's actually possible for people to successfully remove a government peaceably.

Yes. Many moons ago. As I've said, there's a media blackout on the matter. As well as many other smaller versions in North and South America. Not exactly revolutions in those parts but they're not taking it up the arse from the government.

Most politics is just garbage thrown out there to give people emotional comfort.

Conservatives hate revolution so obviously want to pretend this never happened.

Liberals you would expect to love revolution, however because this revolution was not based on their particular brand of garbage it is actually a threat. It suggests that it isn't as difficult as they make it out to be to accomplish these things and actually they have been failing all along.

Bribe? Ahahaha, oh you sweet and innocent creature. The medias been in bed with the government and has been for quite some time. It doesn't cost anything to not report it. And when you were talking about America, it's being blocked out by a lot of other countries as well.

It's economical because if it were wide spread, then people would start to get the idea that they could do it too. And, considering a lot of people are like sheep and and fed like Turkeys on the media, if it's not reported, they won't know.

Though, to be fair, I did ask in an early post if you (or anyone else for that matter) had any further sources/articles in relation to the matter. Anyways, I wasn't really hoping to find additional information at this point... I was more so just assuming that this thread was being kept alive by some actual discussion of the topic, which doesn't seem to be the case (and was also dumb of me to assume, considering this is NG).

People here and all over tend not to be interested in discussing such topics do to some lack of interest whenever it goes beyond their bubble zone. This could however have turned into a conversation on it but what I had originally asked was whether anyone actually knew about it here besides myself. And on that note I'm wondering if anyone here knows of any users from Iceland.
