What is the majority opinion about the transgendered community? Should the person's sex be determined by the operation? If not how should we define hermaphrodites? I usually don't mind people who are trans as long as they are convincing. But, completely successful sex-changes are rare.

What is my opinion of transgendered people? Am I supposed to have an opinion in regards to the mere existence of a group of certain people? Because I'm not too sure that I have one as of right now...

I'm okay with Transsexual people.
It's not like my opinion of them is going to change because they're trans.

I personally think someones gender should be defined by whatever they are happier with being considered as.

For arguments sake, let's say a guy cross dresses, puts on makeup, eyeliner, etc, and prefers to be called Miranda rather than Mike, I believe said person should be able to chose whether they are deemed as a he or a she.
