Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?
3.54 / 5.00 13,063 ViewsI went on a hiatus for a few months to practice art and music. It's 2013, a new start and I matured a bit and gained more confidence. Here's a sketch I did at school the day after I picked up Metal Gear Rising. Good game, you can see the influence in the design. I hope to take this more seriously than I did last year.
Blew the picture up in Photoshop and gave it some colours. I tried to do it like Yoji Shinkawa, but I think I screwed up big time :(
Tried giving it a thermal type feel to it this morning. I don't like the way it butchers the lines though :P
I also applied a filter
Uploaded it to DA because it's a large file from the filters and gradient maps

Shit, this is not half bad, I like it.
Nice use of colour in original. Thermal doesn't look so good tho
A rather disgusting-looking git that should have been disposed of ages ago.

Yeah, it came out really crappy. Filters can't make everything look cool sadly, oh well :P
Here's an art project I did for class. Had 45 minutes (one class period minus getting our assignment) to work on it. I used my Copic Wide Black 100 and correction inks and a Sharpie Fine Point
Ooh I like it a lot. Keep em coming.

Dude, I'm normally against the whole starting a new art-thread business, but you have just gone from "meh" to "this is genuinely interesting art". Great job!

Thanks! I was just flipping through my old sketch threads and was like smh. When artists tell you to keep practicing you'll improve they weren't lying.
Here's 20 arms. I hate arms >:(
Sketchbook pageeeeeee
Falling into this phase of monsters and cartoony humansss
I use some crazy colours man
I let a girl I have a HUGE crush on draw in my sketchbook. Still friendzoned :(((
A quick concept of a fat anarcist punk
some of these drawings will look really poopy because:
1. I haven't sketched in my book in a couple of weeks, been using plain copy paper and forgetting about them
2. I'm still trying to settle on a style
3. I'm in school and I have to prep for this stupid AP test in May
I hate to make excuses, but thats life doe.
I could start keeping my plain copy paper sketches doe..

Details Details Details!
You need some details and structure on those digital paintings.Your brush strokes are all over the place. You post a WIP and then you post the finished piece. The problem is that the finished piece still looks like a WIP.Firstly you need to smooth things up.Try using a different brush and try to define the certain areas of the piece by using different shadows.I'm guessing you are still new to digital painting so don't worry..you will eventually get the hang of it.As for your sketches, they aren't bad but you need to strengthen your lines. They look a little bit too sketchy and wobbly. And a little bit of shade on them won't hurt too
I think something smart has to be written in here but im too dumb to think it up

Very different. Remember to edit out the side of the page, you left abit in the top corner.

Thanks for noticing that for me ;)
Quick character sketch. My friend and I are gonna make a game :3
This character does not have a name at the moment, so we'll call her Scan_09.jpg
She's been bounded to her goggles through a demonic curse, hence her eye expressions are based on the shape of the goggles.
I'm liking this american and japanese influence stuff

That looks cool as it is. I'd hang that on my wall.
Pretty cool stuff so far man, I'm really enjoying the colors you've started to work with. Keep practicing and doing reference studies. You'll get there!
