The controversy of having a liberal society. The ultra-conservatives that run the government, news, and corporations think that America is still a center-right society, where as we actually a center-left society.

We should have a society so left that it goes in a circle again passing right again.

What is your evidence? Some states are passing pro weed and pro gay bills, abortion is legal, they voted a blackie twice, less and less people are religious, more people want liberal stuff than the people who want the wrong ideologies stuff.

I think that excessive prenatal ultrasounds are dangerous for a growing baby.

It's kind of crappy that the number of ultrasound prescribed is going up. It's mostly because doctors can make money off of it easy.

Profit is a tangible benefit vs unknown patient risk.

Of course the law is more left, but I mean the people. I dont mean all he people, but its definitely a larger percentage than in most of Europe, I think you can agree with that. All of this has already happened in a lot of places over here except for a black leader, but thats more because there are a lot less black people here.

Actually, that could be extended into the wider mindset of ridiculous Christian self-victimization that we see in the U.S., even though they comprise the majority of the country and wield an overwhelming, constitutionally iffy amount of influence on American politics that they use to oppress other groups of people.

I wish that were true, but it's not. Most Democratic politicians would be considered moderate conservatives in almost any other first world nation. More recently we do seem to be trending further left, though, so who knows what'll happen in the future. At the very least, I'd expect us to start catching up on social issues in the very near future, but economic and foreign policies are going to continue to be much more contentious.
