You need to think what skills you have that you can sell and then go around touting for business. I do freelance work but I'm already skilled in a particular area which kinda gives me an edge, and I've already built up a portfolio of contacts. Getting the first freelance clients is the hardest part of it so good luck with that.
You can also busk for cash on the street but you might need a permit. Alternatively, you could find some shit that is cheap in China and expensive in your country, like computer parts or something, and buy them and then resell them on eBay.
