So at school as seniors your alowed to have early release....yall should know that....

but anyways im about to head out to the parking lot and my friend asks for a ride because his cars fucked up and his rides not gonna get there until an hour later so im like yea sure.... he has to call his mother at the office and let her know that he doesnt need a ride anymore, i go with him(If my friend knew where i parked i wouldnt have) so he goes, lady at frotn desk says yea sure thats fine, dont take to long (in a joking mannor) he calls, mom says ok good and what not

NO, here comes nosy ass principle askin "what are yall doin" i tell him and he's like NO!! you need writtien permission...im like we both have early release im giving him a ride home.... he says it doesnt matter ITS THE LAW!!!! im like what law says that? my friends 18 he SHOULD beable to sign his ownself out if he wanted to...no need...he has early release, again he says DOESNT MATTER ITS THE LAW, if you have a problem talk to the resource officer, i said ok call him down here

Principal: ill have him escort you off campus right now.
Me:Ok whatever im leaving any way, i then leave

I try to give my 18 year old friend a ride, principal says NO you CANT!!! its the LAW, but wont tell me the law or show me a law that states that....

I tried to use the same excuse that I was 18 to sign myself out when I was legitimately sick. Shit didn't fly. No they required that I call my mother who was grieving over the loss of her friend's only son from a drunk driving accident.

Although poorly written I understand the jist of your situation.

I had, rather earned my early release. I got to leave at noon every day after 5th period. It was a easy ass fucking year.

The first day I left out the one of the side doors, also used by skippers all the time to get to my ride home (If it was to crappy out to ride my bike, my dad picked me up) I had a security guard stop me. Now I knew about 90% of the security staff there, and we were friends. They ask somewhat upset why I was leaving, I tell them about my early release. They don't believe me, I show them my schedule, following that they apologize to me, and let me go without another word.

The next day they were there to open the fucking door for me and tell me to have a nice day. (In a honest gesture not a smarmy assholeish way)

I also frequently left through the front, main most doors, and not a single fuck was given by either of the two large office type things on either side. (It was a small hall way that split into a T, with the principals on one side and the attendance for each grade , and other resources on the other side) I was a good student, carried my schedule on me just in case, and was always polite when questioned.

It sounds like your faculty are the type of ass-hats that will suspend a kid for 2 days for "making a gun out of a pastry". Or any other bullshit they can think of, becuase they think the 0-tolerance policy's make them untouchable. I'd hate to be in a school like that.

I hate to argue here. There not great. I don't deny that. They think diet sodas will help us lose weight, they think being assholes with 0 tolerance will "help" students do better.

I agree there shitty in that respect, but I learned things. I made my fucking teachers think. I can't tell you how many questions i asked different teachers that everyone else groaned at or outright busted out making fun of me, and in the process I had stumped the teacher, and made -them- think. Then the whole class learned something new, or in a best case, the teacher came back the next day with new information for us becuase they did not know the answer.

I admit I didn't like school a whole ton. But I wasn't an asshole. I can't tell you how many "shitty" schools aren't shitty, the students make it hell on the faculty and they stop tolerating the bullshit and make their lives miserable. The kids are fucking dickweeds for no apparent reason, always giving shit and lip to any faculty and especially the security guards.

I'm not trying to say every school is the same. Or that it's ALL the kids. But people seriously need to take a little fucking blame off the school system. We pay the teachers nothing, and give them 25:1-40:1 class sizes, full of ungrateful spoiled fucking dicks, who most of the time enjoy getting sent to the deans office just to get them out of class. They raise hell constantly, fight like baboons, and then we blame the teachers for not doing their job.

Again I'm not saying it's all one or the other, but we want to put 95%+ of the blame on the faculty or school system and it's simply a childish thing to do. Parents need to stop relying on schools to raise their kids, and the kids need to stop, or at least lessen the amount of bullshit they give. Not to mention we need to revamp how we fucking do things so 60% of the time were not studying for retarded, anti-logical "standardized" tests.

Ahah, my older brother had a run-in with his high school principal many years ago when he was a high schooler. He didn't say anything to the man at the time...he just took his phone and called the district's Chairman of the School Board. The Chairman knew my mother during a "meet the board" event, and my bro had the Chairman call the principal. He never bothered my brother ever again...

The whole situation ultimately brought my mother and I back together. We had stopped talking since she "caught me" in my room. I did end up calling her, and we started communicating again.

yea the principal is a fucking pedo too, he'll give the chicks money for lunch if they ask....male ask he'll basically say there sol, and ask if they need to call(which is what he should say for everyone) and he'll let females give anyone rides. I hate the school system im in but im a senior so FUCK IT

yea a phone call is all you should need, my friend JUST got off the phone with his mom right before the principal decided to be a dick, if I get called to the office im raising all sorts of hell lol

I know that. They think that they are all hotshots, thugs, and other stupid crap like that. One reason I like college so much is because there are none of those assholes. At least from what I have seen so far.
