Posts can earn weekly best-of's as well as other "weekly" features and stuff. When exactly does newground's week start? I'm thinking it might be monday lol, but just out of curiosity is it like from saturday to friday? What's up?

Weekly Users Choice - Every Wednesday at midnight the movie with the highest score is chosen as movie of the week. Only movies that were uploaded that week are taken into consideration. If a movie is uploaded near the end of the week and doesn't have enough votes, it will carry over until the next week.

Hmmmm... so for optimum results in this category, a submission should be uploaded on Thursday morning? Am I reading into that correctly?

I guess you could interpret the 'If a movie is uploaded near the end of the week and doesn't have enough votes, it will carry over until the next week' two different ways, as in any movie that isn't the users choice doesn't have enough votes, or as in only submissions that are still Under Judgement will be taken into consideration for the following week. Since it doesn't seem to matter how many votes you get, though, I don't think letting the movie stay up for a longer time will give it a higher score. Maybe it would even have the opposite effect, since people vote either high or low when it's under judgment to get B/P and then vote more honestly when it's passed judgment. I'd go for Monday as optimal, but who knows, maybe you are reading that correctly. :)

Well what exactly IS "under judgement"? Like when you upload something how long is it under judgement? I know there's probably something I could read that would tell me... but since I'm already typing...

SHIT! One of my current favorite vids is probably going to get deleted by this scale. If I rated said vid a 5 and it gets deleted cuz I'm the only one who liked it does my blame/save power go DOWN? ....poor batalien...

No worries, you can only gain B/P points, they won't decrease. Very few submissions actually get deleted right now though, only a couple each day.
