Seems like a great place but its very corrupt, isn't it?
Is it? I've only watched documentaries, but they really made it seem like the perfect place. Instead of GDP they measure how happy the people are. The king was pressured by other countries to make the state a democracy, but the people didn't want a change. It looks pretty nice too, lush green forests, mountains, not much people... seems perfect ! :)
Would nominate Costa Rica alone a similar line of reasoning though.
It's not perfect, I lived there a couple of years, lots of pickpockets, my sister had her purse snatched once, the bus drivers were always competing with each other so bus rides were crazy. Lots of traffic accidents. But at least they don't have an army, that's one great thing about the place.
