Listen to music with no distractions at all? Monitor off, eyes closed for a full album, usually lasting an hour. It's very relaxing. Like reading a book or watching an engaging movie. You get a lot more out of music if you pay attention to it.

My Internet was cut for a week and I did it a lot at night. Tycho is amazing. It's what draws me to vinyl. The closest you can get to just you and music.

I've never done it for a whole album but usually when I'm in a car I'll put on my earbuds and go through the entirety of short playlists on my iPod. It's pretty nice but I've never take time out of my day otherwise to do it.

I try to listen to some Space, Prog., or Psychedelic Rock every night before I go to bed to help me sleep.
So far the best stuff for me is: My Sleeping Karma, Electric Moon, Sungrazer, Smoking Spore, or The Cosmic Dead.

Well. I font listen to albums, I have a random file of music I listen too.
I listen to this all day. My mp3 contains like 100 songs, really only the ones I can stand to hear all the time.

Try this, it's cool. Put on your headphones, and play the music. Make sure it's on repeat, or loops or whatever. Fall asleep listening. When you wake up, you will still be listening to music, and for me anyway, coming out of a dream like that is a nice experience.
