Oh shit man that scene tore me up when I first saw it
Didn't cry though, I've never cried at a movie
I got that Kurt Cobain type of mind-frame
All the Forest Gump youth scenes, and the "I love you jenn-A" scene.
Emma has MANBOOBS!!!! BE AFRAID!
The scene where Rumbo dies in Fluke.
Fluke seriously might be the most depressing movie I've ever seen. It gets me crying more than any other.
The scene in Beerfest where they hint at a sequel.
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey.
Right near the end when Shadow falls into a muddy pit and can't get out. Broke my heart when Chance and Sassy left him behind.
Grave of the Fireflies. The entire movie.
Second to that I can only think of the death scene in The Green Mile...

Aw shit man. I remember that one. That made me really sad when I was younger, feels so hopeless.

I'm not made of stone. If something affects and moves me, the movie maker did his job right.

Any examples of movies that the makers did right?

That scene in mean Girls when Regina wore sweatpants on a Monday and the rest of the plastics wouldn't let her sit with them
That moment in that Pokemon movie where all the Pokemon start crying.

What? Really? O-kay.
For me, most noticeably and the first movie I cried to would be the scene in Gladiator when he's in the coliseum after defeating the emperor.
All of those feels in the Up opening sequence.

I can't exactly remember. I just know that sometimes if I'm really invested in a movie, and sad music starts, and it makes me think about my own personal struggles as a human being, it can strike a chord with me.
As well as many of the films already mentioned, I'm gonna point the shame stick at Sophie's Choice. Just... fuck.
"Anything could happen in the next half hour!"
"For the love of God, don't stop pretending you're a dragon!"
Probably some war movie.

A mentally challenged man wasting his life on an AIDS whore is sad in a different way.
So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled.
Dumbo being cradled by his mom while she's in zoo prison :"(
Yuki Nagato crying in the Dissapearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. It broke my heart.
I have cancer on my anus. Should I see my gynecologist?
In Mean Creek when Josh Peck's character died I was really upset. That was back when I was a young child and only knew him through Drake and Josh. Even though he was an asshole during that whole movie I felt bad for him because I thought he was really cool on Nickelodeon. :-(
