Some people who are assholes can easily tell who they can push around and fuck with, when they see your reaction and know they can easily get into your head, they will go at you at every turn. I used to be with friends who were like that. I'm no longer friends with because of that reason. People just want a reaction, especially being an asshole when they are in a group to earn some rep or some shit. Next time if someone messes with you just take in a very mature manner and make them look like a dumbass.

Maybe you should ignore and avoid contact with them or make some real friends.

Learn how to be assertive. People are pack animals just like dogs and they can tell by your body language if you're going to stand up for yourself. If you think that you're shit, people will treat you like shit. Some people will be mean to you just because they think they can get away with it and you have to stand up for yourself if you want them to stop. You don't always have to be aggressive and fight them (unless they absolutely refuse to listen), but always stand up for yourself and set clear limits. Once you start doing that you will get fucked with significantly less often.

I walked him for an hour in the very hot sun because my fat Mother doesn't do anything so if I don't walk him he's doomed to spend the whole day inside the house which I can tell he hates.

You should come live in Sweden. Shit like that happens all the time. Id say the best way to solve it would be to just do whatever they did to the dog, but to THEM. Violence is sometimes the only way to solve things, OP, I had to put up with people like this through highschool, if I could give my past self any advice, at all, it'd be to kick the ever living shit out of these people. As for them fucking with your dog, next time someone does that, walk your dog home, and then walk back to where he is, and beat the shit out of him, if there's more than one of them, take a fucking bat, or something to hit them with, most people like that run when they are approached with something they see as a weapon. If there is one thing I can't stand, it's people being dicks to their fellow humans, or animals, it just brings my piss to a boil.

People really are cunts. I just dumped this guy because he was the most selfish cunt in the world. Everything revolved around him. Even when my friend committed suicide, he spent the whole night talking about his 'rough day at work'. I almost threw up on him lol I just keep to myself at this point. Too many backstabbing catty bitches and too many stupid immature men to count. I'm hoping I meet some decent people this year.

I feel bad for all of the guys who get picked on by big/scary a-holes. I sometimes feel uneasy around the guys in my hood. Some of them are in gangs and will make it a point to walk directly into me, even when I've tried to move out of their way. I hate them so much. I know it sounds evil, but I sometimes wish there were a button you could press to eject scum like this from the earth. Some people deserve to die.

I honestly wish I didn't care, but it's hard not to..especially when you're a decent person just trying to do your own thing.

Two reasons:

- Soft justice. people in the Empire don't fear any reprecussions.
- Socialism. Getting everything for free gives these assholes a sense of entitlement.

Not quite as bad, but my fiancée was really mad with me because I met an old friend of mine who had become homeless. I brought him up for dinner and a chat. I offered him to stay, but he declined.

She wouldn't shut the fuck up about how I ruined her night.

Sorry for the late response. I thought that I would get an email if someone responded. 'She wouldn't shut the fuck up about how I ruined her night'. That sucks. I guess the staying over thing would bother me if the person smelled or looked shady. Otherwise, I would be happy to take a guest in if my fiance or boyfriend trusted them..for like 1 or 2 days lol I think a lot of women believe that you have to make decisions like that together. I personally would have been cool with it, but I think everyone has their threshold. My ex used to put me on his friend's guest lists for parties without even asking me. It would drive me nuts! He would always guilt me for being an introvert. Not everyone would be cool with a homeless person staying in their house, but freaking out seems a little dramatic. Does your fiance freak out a lot?

So apparently this thread is bumped and I'd just like to say that I've since changed my attitude. I go out all the time and talk to a bunch of people. Cynicism is a great way of making yourself feel like an outsider. Still have moments of depression tho.

That is what people do when there are no consequences to their actions. It is not necessarily malice, more like indifference.

Your body language, mannerisms, clothing and all sorts of things can put across the air that there will be consequences if they mess with you. Even if you're soft and fuzzy on the inside.
