I spelled it that way by choice, yes. I guess a more logical username would be "Dragon". Here is a little backstory of my username:
I think it was in 2006 that I was going to sign up for some online game (can't remember the name) again after being banned once before in 2005. I only knew a few words in English then, and that's why I decided my username should be Dragon-Man with a lot of symbols. It's not like I am obsessed with dragons, it was just one of the few words I knew. Later I was going to sign up for a Norwegian Online Gaming Portal Website and since there were less users on there a shorter name was available. Then I also chose a Norwegian name, and wanted it to be similar to my name in that game. So I chose "Dragen" which means "The dragon" in Norwegian. I also used it when I signed up here.
And here's how you pronounce it: pronounce the a like you would in "father". Pronounce the e like you would in "where".
