Path of Exile

Been playing PoE pretty non stop lately, it brings me back to the D2 days, even though there are so many differences.
It just feels more like D2 than D3 does IMO. I can't wait for the game to actually be released, and it's FREE too! So that's awesome. Anyone else ever play this yet? If so, fuckin tell me your name so we can play together.

It's only in beta and I'm already too excited about it.

D3 felt like D1.5. I've never seen a sequel missing so many features from the previous games.

I'll continue my lv 27 ranger but I have things to do first.

Path of Exile is generally better than Diablo 3 in almost every way possible. More customization, more talents, more flexible combat and just generally more everything.

One thing I find kind of sad is that, Blizzard created Diablo (and will no doubt attempt to pull some sort of copyright shit on Path of Exile) and yet, Grinding Gear managed to create a worthy successor to Diablo 2, while Blizzard was not.

Nah I don't think they would do that man. I mean, they're allowed to make a game that plays similarly.

Well Blizzard tried and tried for months to prevent Valve from making Dota 2 because they thought that since Dota was developed in Warcraft 3, they deserved the rights to it. Path of Exile is directly based off Diablo 2, so I wouldnt be suprised if Blizzard attempts to prevent it from being brought out of beta.
