Ive regrown some interest in this game again and I got to thinking that they should remake it, like an hd remake or something, because it was a really good game....just had a TON of glitches....that's really all I have to say about that...

SOOOOO has anyone else played this game, if you have would you like to see an hd remake of it?? like with fixed glitches and what not

True Crime NY

I always come with a good plan, when that dont work I switch out to the hood plan

I remember that game. I liked it, but as you said, it had some glitches. I don't think I would mind seeing a remake of it though.

Wasn't Sleeping Dogs supposed to be another True Crime sequel?

I have True Crime Streets of LA on the GameCube. I liked it when I was younger. I haven't played it in years, so I can't tell you how I feel about the game now. I remember it being very glitchy. I think I found a glitch that sent the car flying.

NY is a lot more playable compared to its predecessor.
The game was a lot of fun to play, but my sittings on it grew shorter over time due to the repetitive sub-missions.

I think that an HD remake would be welcomed, if they didn't rush it like they did the original; hence the unpolished experience.

yes, it was going to be true crime hong kong but activision got rid of it for whatever reason

But I want NY again like same story same side missions(maybe more) but they just need to fix the game...because it definitely wasn't complete when they released it

The game was so fun, but the glitches were unbearable. There was one glitch in the game where you have to push a boss off the edge and when you're about to push him off the game refuses to let you finish him off resulting you to be stuck on the mission for a long time until the glitch goes away.

If that's the case, it's a remarkable improvement over True Crime L.A. I've never played N.Y, though.

and you would randomly go flying out of your car or throw a bat or melee weapon out....those were HORRIBLE!!! this is an example of what happens when people rush a game...which is why I dont complain when games get pushed to a later date

yes, that's the case, I was really disappointed when true crime hong kong was cancelled :( but then I heard it was just renamed sleeping dogs and a different company took over :) (i still havent bought it yet for whatever reason) true crime NY had SOOOOO much potential to be an amazing game but the GLITCHES!!!

I found a glitch where I fell beneath the world. It pissed me off since I was doing a mission when it happened

oh yea!! idk how I forgot that one, also you had to save after you did ANYTHING because it would freeze. I REALLY wish they put more effort into it
