A question about Voice Actors.

Say I wanted to make a flash animation okay? And I'm scouting for voice actors to have them featured in my flash here on Newgrounds, am I expected to pay them any money?

Or are they enough with publicity, credit and making a name for themselves? I was just wondering.

If you are just making a flash game or animation for fun and not to make money publicity and credit, is more than enough and it's what is expected from voice acting here, However someone new people to voice acting here may think they deserve money for their work.

If you are making content for ad revenue, some people might want to have a portion of what you make for their work.

So most of the time no money is not expected.

I wouldn't expect people to ask for money. On this kind of scale, it's just for the love of the art. I just did a voice over project for someone and I don't expect anything but a thanks and a mention in the credits.

Yeah, money's not expected from us here on NG. Money's always nice, but it's generally standard that everything is for the experience.

No money isn't required but when you offer it more people will respond and typically it means people of higher caliber will respond! But credits and experience go a long way
