Is it just me, or does electronic dance music in the UK seem more interesting than those America? While the US is usually into just electro house and dubstep (particularly brostep), the UK plays a wide variety of EDM genres, such as breakbeat, drum n bass, UK garage, trance (though not as much as in central europe), other forms of house, rave, hardcore, hard house (and related styles), and dubstep that is not heard in the US.
I know that there are clubs for house subgenres other than electro, as well as techno, but that's pretty just underground now and there seems to be no commercial interest. Anyone else feel the same way?
