Does anyone here have limits on bandwidth? If so, what is your limit?

I have approximately 400 MB per day. If I go over, it gets so slow that trying to do anything online is futile.

I can get unlimited for an extra $10-15, but since it's not a problem, It's not worth it.

Well sure, if you don't need it... there's no reason to pay for it. In this digital day and age though, 10GB/day doesn't sound very much. Just one streamed movie will go at around 1-2GB... what speed do you have with that limitation btw?

In Sweden it's rare with any ISP limitations on use, not counting mobile broadband. I actually never heard of it before this thread. :/

I'd say 10GB a day is pretty good. That's like downloading one 1080p bluray movie a day, which is more than enough. I have SkDrive always running syncing up my projects and school work, and still haven't hit the limit.

And yeah, over in Canada and the US, the ISP's like to rip us off, I finally switched over to one that offers fair prices for its services. Residential upload rates are a joke in Canada though.

most blurays are either bd25 or bd50s and that's ~25 or ~50 gigs

far above 10 gigs

unless you're getting rips (which are shit)

True, but I wouldn't say they're shit. Shit is more in the cam-rips area.

BRay is usually around 25GB uncompressed though. Not that I'd considering storing anything that large on my computer though...

Nice (the speed I mean). I'm running on 8Mbit at the moment. According to a quick calculation that would allow me to download around 100GB/day if I had the computer on constantly. so I guess that's the real limit. :)

400GB on 32Mbit. Not bad!
