Of course it strikes in Russia, NASA don't predict meteor strike in Russia. They all hate commies.

It's so tiny compared to the vast distances in space. It could as well have hit some skyscraper in New York and killed millions, but that's just not likely. This occurs only a few times every year and they usually strike some place devoid of humans.

It was in 1908 when the Tunguska event happened. Kind of wierd that mother nature decided to send another one to Russia.

It's my understanding that there isn't really a system in place to detect this stuff. If a large meteor or asteroid were going to collide with Earth the most we'd get is a weeks warning, and that's it. This one was small so nothing would have picked it up.
here is waer i cal conspericy. that roc was obvios sent from the past by hitler to assisanate the twin towers in 2012

No reported fatalities yet, let's hope it stays that way. It's strange to think this is the largest object to entire our planet since 1908.

It's too small to actually hit the Earth. The explosion happened instead of an actual impact because of the size.

On one hand, being injured by space rock would be kind of cool because you're being injured by space rock, but on the other hand that's pretty much the only thing not covered by any insurance ever.
You look nice today.

Pretty scary stuff. Hopefully this will make them want to fund NASA with more money so we are able to defend ourselves in the future against something that may be even more harmful.
