Hey All!

I've been AFN(ewgrounds) for almost half a year working on a degree, but I saw this article and thought of you all.

I agree with most of these picks, have fun!

I believe that they all belong in there, but not in that order.
For instance, D-Blue glitch is beautiful, but I wouldn't put it at #2.

Thanks for the link though, great stuff.

As I understand, the list is made after the readers vote the plugins, so, the #1 or #2 is a choice of people. Pretty much like FL Studio would get here on NG as "the most popular DAW".
Anyway, here's a much bigger list of stuff compiled by a ... well, broke musician at the time, so hunting free plugins was a matter of survival:

Freebies - Best Free VST Effects
Freebies - Samplers and Sample Libraries
Freebies - Free Synths

Can I take a moment to say that the SLL modeled compressor from this actually doesn't sound all that off from the physical one?
I am legit impressed for a free plug.
Must have.

Known about that particular list for awhile. Upstereo is particulary useful.

Thanks for the lists man! I didn't mean to make this a list of all the best free plug-ins, I was just sharing an article, but good call! I'll have to see if you've updated your lists since you last posted them in the forums. ;)

I see GalactiX mentioned: I just can't say how good it is, some nice presets too. I love the vowels and voice, ;)
