The Raven and the Badger 2013-02-14 00:51:59 Reply

I saw them only for a moment on the side of the road sitting next to one another. At first it was strange how the raven did not fly away, as well i wondered why the badger sat so humbled. It looked as though they were speaking in a language without spoken words, they spoke with their eyes. I thought maybe they had found a way to live together in peace, perhaps to set aside their differences and forme a brotherhood. These creatures seemed aged and wise like they knew everything had a reason for being and every reason a purposs. In that moment i thought of mankind, of how if they can set aside their differences then so can we. When the car swirved and the tires squeeled the car went airborn, just then the car crushed the Raven and the Badger. Where was the reason and what was the purposs i wondered, I'll tell you now that it was death. The Raven's wings did not flap nor flutter he only felt a still peace with his friend the Badger. The Badger did not run to safety though he could have, instead he was humbled to share his death with a life long friend, a friendship that would not bend.
