Dude I've been around plenty of other musicians and have never once met one that was "full of themselves".
I'm not sure exactly what it is you're on.

Amanda Todd. She did nothing important. She killed herself. And yet I saw a ton of long, drawn out, whiny Facebook statuses and pictures about how she was an angel and a hero. That kind of shit pisses me off above all else.

Yeah i couldn't figure that one out myself. She was no one special, she was just a whore that drank bleach when things got to much for her.

To all those who say Lincoln: FUCK YOU

If it were not for Lincoln the south would have seceded and America wouldn't be the great country it is today.

Lincoln was a smart man and an American patriot who did MANY tough decisions and did things other politicians would have been too stupid and pussy to do (such as deception) all to make America the great unified country it is today anyone who disagrees is a communist nazi fuckhead

Winston Churchill actually shared some point of views with Hitler. Also he hated Gandhi and no, not that Gandhi. But I'm sure he hate him too.

The biggest heroes are by definition the worst enemies of something or someone else.

You know who actually are not heroes? Cops. Police are most times useless, better used as crossing guards. If you call the police they generally can't help you with much, and tell you that it's a civil matter and to get a lawyer. They are just their to scare the crap out of the middle class with speeding tickets, and the threat of jail if things get out of hand.

Police are a big reason why Americans don't stand up for themselves. A cop will tell you to shut your fucking mouth and possibly smash your teeth out with a flashlight if you stick up for your civil rights. Cops, and fear of prison keeps most of us in line, out of the way, not protesting, not sticking up for ourselves. Of course, some of us don't care. There are still protests, and things like Occupy Wall Street.

I feel that Che Guevara perhaps gets a little bit too much credit as a hero and a fighter for justice and freedom. I get that he fits the classical image of a hero perfectly, but during his military days he was responsible for a lot of brutal executions and did some things that were downright sadistic.

He's not really the kind of guy I would choose to glorify to be honest.

When suddenly a retard appears. Having a distaste for a gangly political icon that wasn't any more important than any other freedom fighter makes you a nazi...what a reasonable and logical conclusion. Put your dunce cap back on and crawl back into your cage to masturbate you cretin

Christopher Hitchens was probably the master of this, hating virtually EVERYONE who has a hero because they supported a war or banned oral sex or something. Of course, Hitchens himself was a heavy supporter of the Iraq War and even criticized those who were trying to bring peace, so he's the biggest un-hero of them all. He reminded me of the bully in school who kept calling me a fruitcup.

Implying that you have, in fact, personal experience with famous musicians.

Tell me more.
Why do they have to be famous?

Why do they even have to be musicians then? We were talking about authors in general and you bee lined straight toward musicians because they seemed like the easiest target to criticize. All I did was make it easier for you by narrowing it down, funnily enough I also reduced the level of retarded generalization by doing that, albeit not by that much.

I don't have personal experience with Phil Collins, but with successful musicians yes of various types of music including rock, metal, pop, christian, reggae, latin, and hip hop. It's funny because they all have a similar attitude despite the huge difference in genre. They are very talented, and very into themselves, why wouldn't you be?

Implying that all musicians are instantly talented, appeal to a wide range of people beyond a niche market and are considered superstars. I suppose this logic also applies to Judge Roughneck as well?

Musicians have some sort of power over people . Its like they have some sort of exclusive passport that can them girls, drugs, connections, party's, jobs, anything really. People treat you differently if they know you're a musician, you are put on some kind of pedestal.

You're still making a very retarded generalization; what you're essentially telling me that anyone who owns an instrument, even if it's a fucking kazoo, is a smug asshole with a superiority complex.
