okay guys. what's the worst part about doing a collab?

putting it together.

and why?

cause you motherfuckers can't name your symbols to save your life!

so i'm presenting for a limited time, libAppend!

just install libAppend into your adobe extension manager, then in your project highlight all items in your library. then it's just Commands->libAppend. enter your name for the prefix followed by an underscore (i.e. "MaxV_") and libAppend will autoname all the symbols in your library for you.

let's try and get this added to the creator resources so all of you collab organizers can take a load off when it comes time to compile.

Disclaimer: i did not make libAppend. it's about 8 years old and i've always had it installed on my computer, but just recently found the .mxp for it so i can share it now.

If you hadn't much items, then it's no problem. But having a ton of stuff in your library can be frustrating. This will change everything.

i've compiled a few collabs for people way back when and this has always been the biggest headache. that and file conversion. but that never bothered me since i always have the newest version of flash
