NATA 2013 Fundraiser

The Newgrounds Annual Tournament of Animation is approaching and in addition to prizes provided by NG and Adobe, we are having an indiegogo fundraiser!

The fundraising goal is currently $2000 although there are stretch goals if we can beat that. A portion of the money will cover pledge gifts and contest expenses, while the rest will be added to the prize pool!

Check out the NATA fundtraising page. Pledge gifts include DVDs, calendars and even the ability to choose a theme for one of the rounds!

If you missed it last year, check out NATA 2012 to get a feel for how this competition works. We expect this year to be BIG!

You know what would be a great perk? A badge displayed under the 'Gear' part of your profile, like the Supporter badge but without purpose, just to show that you've contributed. The current perks don't seem to have any lasting effects on this site. I'd contribute if it was available (at a reasonable price of course). ;)

The animation is by Emrox. The writing and voicing is by myself.

Yes, the lengthy 6-round structure last year was far too much for animators. By the time the finalists got to the final round, they were burned out.

I have a suggesting on how to judge NATA...

Wouldn't it be best to have EVERYONE animate every round? That way, the most points at the end total wins. More content and more of a challenge if you have everyone against each other every round.
