Your work is really lovely. I think it could be improved by cleaning up your lines a little more. I understand sketches tend to lose a bit of "feeling" once they've been cleaned up, but some of your finished pieces are looking rough around the edges because the lines are still in the sketch stage. Your soft colouring would be more effective if it wasn't being broken up by lines in the face and arms as much. It's really noticeable in your Geisha and Cleaver pieces. All that being said, I'm stoked to see more by you! Are you making a comic? First Date looks it could belong to one.
You're right in all cases. To be honest I'm not confident in my lines when I go digital as I'm drawing from the wrist. As for the lines on faces and arms... I have no idea why I left them. I guess they just looked appealing at the time.
First Date is part of something I've been working with friends and it's currently in limbo. I can only explain vaguely what it is through images as I'm not sure what is, much less of what I'm doing... If you can make sense of that. Officially, images that are connected to this story are Plug In and "Blow" a composition I'm currently working on.
