Wait what? This hasn't happened in my 21 years of living there, we've never had storm surge that bad, nor have we had ocean water knee deep at the doors of any of the fish plants, to say that it's "bound to happen" is pretty ignorant; the winds on Saturday were a sustained 90 km/h with gusts as strong as 130 km/h which have never been witnessed there before outside of hurricane season. I've been in some bad storms down there, but that one takes the cake, never has the water come up that high.

I have no idea what's gonna happen to Kansas City Wednesday into Thursday. we're in the buffer zone where it could be all rain or all snow.
