Tony' Midwest Blizzard thread!! 2013-02-10 13:09:38

Looks like we are gonna get one hell of a storm so far we got 6 to 10 inches of snow and expect to get 16 to 20! We are getting 25 to 30 mph winds. We are already getting the snow plows off the roads due to the fact the snow is so wet and heavy.

So east coast you think you have it bad?

That looks deep! Just woke up and realized it had snowed one decimeter, woo! It's a comparatively minimal amount though, those mounds seem to amounting that you could riddle them with tunnels. Would be fun. :)

but they don't get it like us. for them 6 inches of snows is a emergency, try 18-24 up here in Minnesota. and have you ever thought of a NG meet up at Mall of America? rollercoasters, LEGO LAND, we have a underwater aquarium thing and a video arcade and the best of all Luis lots of Bars to drink

Nice. Southeast Maine was hit with just about the same amount. It's melting away today though, wicked pissah.

Bitching about waist high snow, try having that along with storm surge from the ocean, here's a fish plant on the coast, yeah, that's a wave crashing over the rock wall in the background, and all that water? On a fine day that would be solid land.

Here's another to give you perspective, the wharf is underwater and the boats are floating above it.

That would do a pretty great wallpaper.

Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.

You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.
