Which do you think is worse or better?
I vote for Doom 64 being the better game.

Both are good games and neither are as good as Doom 1 and 2, but I'd have to say Doom 64 captures the Doom experience better than Doom 3 did. But Doom 3 wasn't bad, save for the fact that it tried to be more a survival horror game than Doom 1 and 2. And it was hard as shit.

I didn't like Doom 2, I played about halfway through and thought it was a rehash of Doom 1, most of the maps I played in the first half of that game were badly designed or even rejects from the first one.

I've never played Doom 64, but I remember playing Doom 2 and Doom 3. I think they're both good. They have both got pros and cons and they are both good games. (In my opinion.)

Graphically, Doom 3 is obviously better. I like the old games though so I'll go with the 64 version, it was nice at the time with a console port that wasn't a part but actually a completely new game, with new levels and models and everything. The levels didn't seem as well thought-out as the original, but they were fun to play, and the music was great. Big improvements with dymanic lightning too, but I'd rather they used the original Doom sprites, I never did like the new ones.
