Maybe too old of a game to make a thread on, but damn they need to release a third game for this series. Now that Dark Isles studions is back do you think they will get around to making new games in this series? They sold very well when they were released and are probably some of my favorite games ever.
Buy it now if you don't have it the music will give you chills.

I don't believe that Black Isle have the rights anymore, that was partially why they didn't release a Baldur's Gate 3. As for the Dark Alliance series, I don't know if they ever planned to or not.

There needs to be a part 3. They ended the second game hinting to a third. I loved the first and second games and have bought them again recently.

Fucking hell yes, there really needs to be a third Dark Alliance game. And a second D&D Heroes game would be great. In fact, I really wish there were a lot more console games based on Dungeons & Dragons. Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, whatever. Why haven't we gotten any of those for this generation of consoles besides Daggerdale? I want a full fledged D&D action RPG that isn't DLC.

They were working on a third Dark Alliance game, but the project was canned.

Wow, that sucks, especially since a third game was foreshadowed at the end of two.

From what I've heard, it sounds like the ending of the second one was perhaps a cliffhanger, or at least unsatisfying. I still haven't played it, but I've been meaning to do so.

I own the first one and it a fantastic game. I went to buy the second one at a second hand shop a couple weeks ago and the price was almost 40 fucking dollars. Holy shit, that's more than most games are worth in current generation! I assume it's because the game shoots vaginas and rainbows in your eyeballs.

That's what should of happened all those years ago too, release the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 3 game since the 2nd game's ending turned out to be a cliffhanger and a lot of people who liked Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance where really waiting for a 3rd game to come out, unfortunately this didn't happen.
If anything, I think they should one day release not only an HD version of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 respectfully but also the 3rd game that just never came to be, that's something that should be allowed to one day take place, all what Wizards of the Coast should do is just give the rights to either Interplay Entertainment again or to Snowblind Studios (Snowblind Studios did help Interplay make the first Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance game, they in all reality should be allowed to finish the series).
