I don't watch tv to much but judging from what my little sister watches on tv, it's gone shit.

Nick was always cartoons but now it's about music, actors, and merchandise. Not to mention there is only a handfull of cartoons now a days + they all suck boar balls.

Disney is the same with nick, just practically no cartoons.

Cartoonetwork is meh. They still air some of their old shows but still half of their new shit sucks.

But my current question right now is, what do you think of tv now a days?

Really, those three, MTV, CMT, and TBS are the only truly shit channels on television. Any channel with *noun* boss or *noun* rescue, and any channel with shitty reality shows, is a bad channel, with a few exceptions.

I replaced the TV with Youtube/Internet and vidyo games; although I will still periodically catch a show or two that interest me on reg TV

It all depends on the channels you watch. Some channels are bad, some channels are good. As for tv shows, the quality has greatly improved over the years. Now that the technology is here and it's cheaper to buy a decent camera to record with, more studios are capable of producing shows and since it's cheaper, which makes it a smaller risk. That's why movies were so much bigger than shows years ago. Studios relied on big blockbusters and sequels because it was less of a risk and they brought in money that covered the production of expensive cameras and other equipment.

My TV can record programmes, so I can skip the adverts by fast forwarding. Really helps when your laptop has shit quality picture when the scene is dark in a movie/tvshow.
