Hi,

I need an relatively simple image. If I was to run a contest thread on this forum with a prize of $50 (and free publicity), would anyone enter?

And, without being mean - would entries for a $50 prize be any good?

As long as you have proper approval from a moderator, and a proper request for what the image is, you should be good to go.

The forum moderators are listed on the bottom of the forum page.

ReNaeNae, TurkeyOnAStick or Ornery would be the right people to ask about an art contest in the forum (or literally every other issue concerning the art forum). You should explain your contest idea to them in detail and see what they think of it.
