"Free-spirited San Franciscans have officially been stripped of the right to go buff in public.
City officials held a final vote on Tuesday to outlaw nudity in a raucous meeting at City Hall during which several attendees shed their threads in protest.
The half-dozen naked agitators shouted at members of the Board of Supervisors and were quickly seized by sheriffâEUTMs deputies armed with large blankets.
As they were hustled out of the chamber, two of the saggy-bummed nudists, one wearing only rainbow knee socks and another sporting thigh-high black nylons, shouted "Body freedom!" and "Shame on you!âEU
The board gave preliminary approval to the ban on Nov. 20 - protesters got naked at that hearing as well - and TuesdayâEUTMs 6-5 vote passed without any debate. (The vote was originally 7-4, but one board member changed her vote, saying she had become distracted, local CBS News reported.)"
Welp, I'm out of a job.

that's not nudity they're wearing clothes
I really don't care about nudists. To me it seems like they're rebelling just to rebel, I see no reason why you would want to be naked all the time. Clothes are practical. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I don't know, it just all seems pretty dumb to me.
fucking californians...
How is public nudity defined in the case? Does this law affect nude beaches or are they the exception?
Even the most righteous, logically sound individuals are subject to poor reasoning skills and deluded mindsets.
good
now they need to make it legal for police and security to taze them

I would love that its not like the LAPD cares about its record of police brutality anyways..

The police are not any more immoral than anybody else in California.
Sheriffs armed with blankets? Those are the nicest Sheriffs ever.

california is a shithole they people there are all idiots. especially the ones that run it.
I only wear clothes so that you don't see my random boners that would be considered inappropriate.
That's the basic human freedom they're messing with. Being yourself.
Shame on them.

Fuck censorship, I say let people dress or undress however they want. As long as they're not physically wounding people it shouldn't be a crime.

Clothing is fucking uncomfortable.
If I were more comfortable with my body and I had the choice, I'd never wear it.

theres a difference between Censorship and common sense.
Nudity is perfectly normal, many nudists exist and practice it as we would practice wearing clothes. Germany especially completely adores nudism and has nudist parks etc. in major cities.
Americans are becoming increasingly obsessed with sex. Why else would they claim it should be banned, nudism has nothing to do with sex or showing off the body or rebelling. Try explaining that to idiots who demand people shield their eyes from such things, ignorance.

If the clothing is not comfortable, what do you do? You take it off.
Common sense.

Common sense should apply to the minds of people, not the law.
*sighs* Nudity is majestic. Don't hide it.
