General B & B discussion. What do you remember the most? Is this show not nostalgia goggle friendly? Is the new season like the classic seasons? Is it really a Cultural Icon? Should the series continue?

I had recently just finished playing through an old copy of B & B Virtual Stupidity, and the flow of nostalgia has lead me to find a discussion of the franchise, but to my dismay, there is none. Has this show really been a victim of time as I'm led to believe?

the earlier episodes are terrible, but as the show went on they started getting better, and some of them are hilarious

I agree. When they watched music videos of really rocking songs, they didn't really seem to do much other than head bang.
but like you said, they actually started have full blown commentary that was none too similar to MST3K.

I never really watched Beavis & Butthead. I keep confusing them with Dumb & Dumber too for that reason. The most I've seen are a few parody clips here at NG.

I absolutely hated early B&B, I thought the humour was just idiotic and bland. In my opinion, Judge hit a high note with KOTH.

I quite enjoyed the whole series.

yes even the early ones.

Though I only watched the first episode when it was brought back.
Mainly because I thought it was idiotic that they brought it back after it'd been off the air for so many years.

I never really liked the music video parts.

The music usually sucked, and the commentary wasn't very clever or funny.

I watched it when I was a kid, when I was too stupid to actually understand what was being said so I never got any of the jokes.

Although the same is for south park and family guy, when I actually went back and watched then when I was older, they were a lot more funnier.

Pretty much one of my favorite shows ever. I still laugh like a maniac every time I watch it, including the newer episodes.

I just remembered Beavis and Butthead again the other day. So I went to see if there were any new episodes since it got renewed and boy was i pissed. No new episodes since the last time i watched the show almost an entire year earlier.
