Coolest Anime Character

For me it will have to be Maes Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist.
Maes Hughes is a character that is hard not to love. He is often seen as the comedy relief but has his debuts as a serious and skilled fighter. He is best friends with Roy Mustang (and would do anything to help Roy achieve his goals) and a loving and devoted husband/father. Maes would do anything for his wife Gracia and always carries pictures of his daughter Elycia in his uniform and never misses a chance to show everyone how cute she is. He starts out in the anime as a Major in the Investigation Division and eventually becomes a Lieutenant Colonel.

He is killed by Envy upon his discovery of Father's plans, and is posthumously promoted to Brigadier General

Laxus Dreyar from Fairy Tail is pretty cool, so is Gildarts.

Heero Yuy is a great character from the Gundam series with a bit of depth that I've always been fond of.

Jiraiya from the Naruto series takes the cake for me though.

He's a row model. :D Kinda similar to Luffy btw, and Toriko, they're all care-free and happy, eat a lot, like getting into fights, are ridiciously strong etcetc... though maybe that applies to pretty much all main characters in action-packed anime...

I really don't get what that image is suppose to be saying, and where any humour lies within it. All it is is a picture of a girl from an anime with it claiming "It is taking over the world" there is no amusing addition of a planet being dominated or it being integrated within a real life photograph or anything.
