Half Full Glasses of Alcohol

For some reason it always irks me when someone fills up their glass of alcohol and they only fill it half way. I mean your not using the glass to it's full capacity and should feel bad for it.

I mean just look at all the alcohol you COULD be drinking! But nope, you decided to be "tasteful".

And that ice is taking up valuable space that could be used for even more alcohol!!!
Whomever prepared this glass of liquor needs to sit down and think about their life.

well if you are a enthusiast and connisuer,, with good alcohol (scotch, bourbon etc) you half fill it, ice and you drink ropes of it to savor and make it last.

well, I think only few people are able to hold a glass with such delicacy that they dont spill it if the glass was filled to the very top.

But it should be at least 75% to 85% full, half full? what do think im doing, traversing the rocky mountains?

I prefer my glass of alcohol half full, usually means I've drunk half already, and I'm half way there to a top up

Depends. You can grab nearly two liters of Clan MacGregor for about $15. It's not the best, but it'll get you drunk.
However, if you're drinking the drink straight, it's likely something decent. I wouldn't drink any MacGregor straight, but I certainly would drink Flor de Cana straight, and that's only about $18 for 750 ml. Of course, that's rum and not scotch, so there's less elitism behind each glass.
