I gotten back into the habit of typing things again on this website (just briefly)and the responses where so quick and I was like "yah thats probably got to do with the new feed system that shows activity on the frontpage"
I can't be the only one that noticed this?
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.

You what?
I don't use the feed feature myself, I just keep to checking threads I have posted in myself like usual to see if anything has been added towards me.
When this post hits 88 mph, you're going to see some serious friendship.

but....now you can actually see all the people that quoted you if you just go to your feed thingy. Isn't that easier then having to manually check threads or going back to your posts?
I always suspected there was some sort of gap between the forums (general in specific)and the rest of the site, and these two replies are confirming this more and more.
woah
Alright I'll put the cards on the table you sound like a p cool guy, I was joking, of course I see it.
And yes, yes I do use it myself. Unfortunately it still notifies me of certain replies I have already seen before.

That's so nice of you dudeman.

Ah yes, the being-ahead-of-the-system issue. We all suffer from that sadly enough thanks to twitter and facebook.

i know right, gosh, browsing entire threads just for that reply that may or may not have happened

Anyway dudes, you people seem to always be fast and right on top of things, I just noticed a difference in response speed, because now its on the person frontpage when you post on their blog. They don't have to manually go check, which I thougth sped up the reply process.
Theres a bigger sense of connectivity.
or maybe im just drunk, who knows
I find it incredibly useful.
Before the feed was there I had to constantly have to go to my profile to see if I had any new comments and shit on my news posts, and had in the past completely missed some by entire days. Now I get em pretty much right as soon as they're made.
Same goes with whenever someone replies to something I say on the BBS.
Granted I wont deny that it DOES feel a tad..."stalkerish"....
Then again I felt the same way when they made the whole "fanning" thing.

Ya exactly, now everything feels more instantaneous.

pfff, doesn't it feel like stalking when you go through someones pictures on facebook? Doesn't it feel like stalking if you click on someones profile and go through their shit? The internet in general is one big following, stalking, "I-WANT-TO-SEE-YOUR-EVERY-MOVE" thing.
I mean, come on, look at twitter. People telling a milion other people what they are doing at and where they are doing it.
Stalking isn't some creepy thing that only a few people do, it has become the new norm.
everyone is updated about everyone about everything
everything and everyone
NG predicted it
It is very handy. I still check threads, but mainly rely on the feed.
i think its for dumbasses who crave too much attention

So you love it then?
Oooh fan-bogging-tastic. Now half my time on this site is gonna be wearing out my f5 key on the frontpage.
"Anything could happen in the next half hour!"
"For the love of God, don't stop pretending you're a dragon!"
i like it because. now i can see the uploads from cool artists. then i leave and dont have to torture myself. sometiomes it works. i failed today
i am a failure
i like having that feed, im able to get back to threads i had forgotten about like the flash reg lounge. I find that im able to keep a pulse on my beloved users.
None
That makes Newgrounds infinitely more convenient.

Yupp, didn't take long to notice. I also noticed that I reply to replies quicker than usual, and to reviews, and to blog post comments, and to pretty much anything else (though that's pretty much it). It's a great new feature! :)
I like the notifications for blog post replies. I hated checking everyone I visit regularly for replies.
I love the new feature. I'm able to keep up with replies and stuff more easily. Its rough trying to search through
Threads and newsposts all the time.
I used to use was I quoted before the feed. So I was still able to catch most of the people who quoted me.
