I am currently in the process of shooting/editing a live action short film. I am looking for someone to score the film when it is complete. This IS a paying job that can be done through Elance.com. I need people to create a "sample" track to a trailer that we will be making. Whoever produces the best/most fitting track will be hired to score the rest of the film. I am on a time constraint, so I need it to be scored fast. Those who are interested, I will get the trailer up for you to view asap. Thanks guys!
Writing music for a trailer is not a good test to find out who can write music for your film in most cases. You're better off giving the candidates a 1 minute scene from the film instead. :)

Trailers and films don't necessarily use the same soundtrack; you might use a different composer for each. That being said, I love scoring for 60-120 second trailers and would enjoy taking a stab at yours!
Welcome to bat country.
Any specific style you're looking for? I've PM'd you a couple of trailer-type tracks I've written in the past: I don't do film scores anymore, but I'd be willing to score your trailer.
