I have a few theories about this:

1) He is being forced to do this at gun point
2) He is autistic...and probably the next Chris Chan
3) It has to be 1 or 2 because nobody is retarded enough to make this of their own volition, unless 2 is true

I remember when I was much younger me and a friend made a show called "The Guy Show" or something a little less original sounding. It was just him and me talking in front of my new integrated laptop webcam but I thought it was the greatest thing on Earth. The first real editing I did was on that dumb little show and helped me grow into the editor I was last year before I got lazy and sad. Spiced in some logo I found on Google images and blam! The show was complete. Uploaded that shit and got no hits.

Point is when you're young and/or dumb the simple stuff you create on your own is awesome. I hate when people act above these kids. They're the ones enjoying themselves. Sure, he may be nervous but he's havin a ball of a time.

I wasn't trying to imply he's dumb for having fun. He just doesn't look like he is in that particular vid. Looking back at his channel he seems to have a lot of videos that would confirm your idea.

In the OP's link though, he recorded himself alone sounding almost like he's crying of nervousness. Whether he was or not doesn't really matter; I'm sure he's gotten plenty of shit for it already and that's why I don't understand letting it stay up.
