Can a racist man who claims to be Jesus Christ use the n-word without repercussion? Is he going to save all of us?
Do you think this is Charles Manson pt. 2? Do you think he has a hippy cult of car-wrecking murderers?

That homeless guy is awesome and people can be really crazy. Glad the guy is doing alright and had non-life threatening injuries.

Alot of cults fall under 'christian identity', such as the klan.
Since the hippy looks like he has a tent in his pack, it's not an unusual tool for a campsite, hammer tent and flap pegs, for example.
It could be as simple as a gay klansman wanting to go back to a cell because he misses his boyfriend/disciples..
