Halo coming to Steam?

So there's this site called Xpaw or something that tracks Valve's uploads to Steam, and today someone went on and discovered something very interesting, to say the least.

Scroll to the bottom. At the time you're reading this, it may have fallen off that page, but it's on there for sure.

Halo 1 and 2 I can see, but I thought Halo 3 was a 360 exclusive. Is Microsoft porting it just for the sake of putting it on Steam?

Yeah and Banjo-Kazooie was ONLY FOR THE N64. Things don't stay exclusive forever.

That's actually really cool, this should at least temporarily revitalize the online communities. And if they port Halo 3 hopefully they'll go all the way, I'd really love to see Halo 4 on PC.

Maybe the next xbox will be some kind of PC hybrid, with steam support? Yeah, I'm dreaming.

I'm grasping at straws here, but it's worth noting that they said there are "currently" no plans.

Halo 1-3 are on PC already, you just have to *GASP!* buy the solid copy.

The only practical reason I can think of for doing this is to keep the community alive seeing as the console generation is around the corner.
They still want people to play.
But if that were the case they would also be porting 4...

I'm Dutch, the way I put money on my Steam account is through PayPal, it's pretty easy. And if that doesn't suit you, you can always just pay directly through PayPal.

As long as 343 Industries exists, Halo will remain a Microsoft title and therefore will almost certainly remain on the Xbox and other Microsoft consoles.

I really hope they come to Steam. I have Halo 3, and I hate controlling it with an analog stick. I'd much rather use a mouse.
