Hi. How do I apply a glow filter to a sprite?

I have a button set up and I want a golden glow filter to appear on top of it whenever a person hovers over it with their mouse. Can you tell me how I would do that? Thanks in advance.

You could make a movieclip inside the button. That's how I'd do it anyway, but don't know if they've changed how buttons work since the last time I used Flash.
