I agree with this. I have never cared for valentines day previously as I never really got the point of it. I dislike the idea of being told to do things on the day when you don't need an excuse to be romantic. But regardless despite that I still would enjoy doing something nice for my partner even if it is a day invented by card companies to make single people feel worse. I suppose it's because I would feel bad if I didn't in case it looked like I didn't want to show affection despite just not approving of being told to. I see that binding loop hole into forcing me to have to be romantic day. I see what you did there...

I just realized how much Valentine's Day seems to have been trivilized because of the Super Bowl. I don't even remembering seeing a single Valentine's Day ad in a Super Bowl commercial! I mean, we make jokes about the presidential election being to so close to Halloween by dressing up as Obama or whoever we hate.
