Nope, you're stuck with the one you have.

You could possible ask Wade to change it, but considering you haven't really done much on the site I don't think it's really worth it. You may as well just make a new account if you dislike your name that much.

Sure there's a way. Just send a PM to the people in control mentioning which name you would like to have it changed to and they might magically transform it. Though you should have a good reason. If everyone wanted to change their usernames for no reason at all then it would be a royal pain for the admins. Usernames are by rule permanent, thus the exception.

Same thing, contact the admins. Though the best option for everyone would be to just be to forget about it and let it be, maybe enter a random password in the process.

After the great NG redesign of 2007, all usernames were embedded into the site, thanks to HTML (I think - I can't remember). Because of this usernames can no longer be changed easily, and in order to change your username, you have to go through a painful process of getting into the site's code and all that.
